08:30 AM | Pickup & The Citadel Your guide picks you up from your hotel. We drive to the Citadel of Saladin, a massive fortress built in 1176 AD to protect Cairo from Crusaders.

  • The Alabaster Mosque: Visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, famous for its pencil-like minarets and soaring dome.

  • The Green Mosque: A quick visit to the Mosque of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad, a masterpiece of Mamluk architecture.

11:00 AM | Old Cairo (The Religious Complex) We drive to the neighborhood of Mar Girgis (Old Cairo), built around the ruins of the Roman Babylon Fortress.
