Tour Plan

Day 1 Detailed Itinerary

5:00 AM – Early Departure & Desert Sunrise Your private driver picks you up from your hotel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. As you leave Hurghada, watch the sun rise over the dramatic mountains of the Eastern Desert. The 4-hour drive is a scenic transition from the rugged coast to the lush, green banks of the Nile Valley.

9:30 AM – The Grandeur of Karnak (East Bank) Start your exploration on the East Bank at the Karnak Temple Complex. Your private Egyptologist will guide you through the Avenue of Sphinxes and into the Great Hypostyle Hall. With 134 towering columns still bearing traces of original paint, you’ll feel the true scale of ancient Egyptian power.

12:30 PM – Traditional Lunch & Nile Crossing Cross the Nile to the West Bank, traditionally known as the "City of the Dead." Enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. If you wish, you can opt for a traditional Felucca (sailboat) ride across the river to enjoy the cool breeze and river views.

1:30 PM – The Valley of the Kings Enter the hidden valley where the pharaohs of the 18th to 20th dynasties were laid to rest. Your ticket includes entry to three of the most well-preserved tombs. Listen as your guide brings the wall paintings and hieroglyphics to life, explaining the ancient Egyptian journey through the afterlife.

3:00 PM – Hatshepsut’s Terraced Masterpiece Visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Carved directly into the limestone cliffs, its unique design is a sharp contrast to the temples of the East Bank. It’s the perfect spot to learn about the queen who ruled as a king.

4:00 PM – The Colossi of Memnon Before leaving the West Bank, make a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon. These two 18-meter-high statues of Amenhotep III are all that remain of what was once the largest mortuary temple in Luxor.

4:30 PM – Return Journey Begin the comfortable drive back to the Red Sea, arriving at your hotel in time for a late dinner, reflecting on a day spent in the company of kings.
